Saad Rafique announces cut in train fares on Eid

LAHORE: Federal Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique has announced a huge drop of 50 percent fares of special trains on 14th, 15th and 16th of this month to facilitate public on the eve of Eid-al-Fitr.

Addressing to a news conference in Lahore this afternoon, the minister claimed that Pakistan Railways has enhanced its income at record level and controlled its expenditures in recent years due to government successful measures.

He said that Railways has launched an extensive Special Eid Operation this year, as compared to past.
