LAHORE – Position holder students from all over Pakistan, who were on a study tour of European countries under the Punjab Chief Minister’s Flagship Program, have returned home on Monday morning.
During the one month long visit, the position holders visited a total of 25 universities in Germany, UK and Sweden.
Provincial Minister for education Rana Mashood Ahmed welcome the students at Lahore International Airport.
Students from all over the country visited historic Heidelberg University of Germany during their visit.
The Heidelberg adjacent to Berlin has the historic importance as Allama Iqbal, during doctorate in Philosophy in Germany, had stayed in the village of Heidelberg.
Talking to media at airport, the Education Minister said talented students will be provided opportunities to secure education from the world renowned universities.
