Nothing is impossible: Disabled girl flies plane with feet

ARIZONA: A 32 year old woman Jessica Cox was born without arms as a result of rare birth defect. This has not proven a disability for this inspirational and self-motivated woman who has adapted to life by using his feet.

The psychology graduate can write, type, drive a car, brush her hair and talk on her phone simply using her feet. She also becomes the first armless black belt in the American Tae Kwon Do Association.

By defying all odds, 5 years ago Jessica became the first female to fly a plane with her feet.

Jessica says, “I remember as a child that I always wanted to fly over the playground like Superwoman, because I was so angry about how limited I was.”

She also said: “I’ve been terrified and fascinated of flying for as long as I can remember”.

The only thing she was afraid of was flying. But few years ago she was given the chance to overcome her fears.

She said: “A fighter pilot, who represents the charity Wright Flight asked me if I’d like to try flying one myself”.

At first I thought he was nuts. I would have been scared enough if I had arms, let alone without them.

“But he kept insisting I would love it and so I started to see it as the ultimate challenge.”

She learned to fly in rudderless light Ercoupe aircraft, where you only need your hands to control it rather than both hands and feet.

“It took me three hard years to complete but it is the most fantastic feeling in the world.

Now Jessica travels around the world as a motivational speaker, using her own life as an example of what one can achieve if one wants it enough.
