Ex-ISI chief claims Osama Bin Laden died in 2005

ISLAMABAD – Former Director General (DG) of Inter Services Intelligence(ISI), Gen. (R) Hameed Gul, has claimed that Al Qaeda leader, Osama Bin Laden, died a natural death in 2005.

During his interview in one of the famous talk shows to private channel, Hameed Gul said, “I don’t think Osama was there in Abbottabad,  raid by US Navy Seals in Abbottabad didn’t kill Osama, rather he died a natural death in 2005”.

He further added that truth would be revealed in future about the May, 2011 Abbottabad raid by US forces.

In response to question regarding the policies of former military ruler Pervez Musharraf, Hamed Gul said that Musharraf had caused great damages to Kashmir issue during his tenure 1999-2008.

He further added that Musharraf had inflicted most damage to Pakistan Army, which is the most prestigious institutions of Pakistan.
