KARACHI – Chief of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), Altaf Hussain, has urged to take people of Sindh into confidence for the construction of Kala Bagh Dam.
While talking to media on Wednesday morning, Altaf Hussain has said that construction of Kala Bagh Dam is inevitable to overcome water and power crisis in the country.
He added that government should call team of water experts to address Sindh people’s reservations about construction of Kala Bagh Dam.
Altaf Hussain said no one talks about the construction of small dams in the country, as they would be very handy to overcome power load shedding and water scarcity in the country..
MQM Chief further added that is is the prime duty of both Federal and Provincial government to provide water and electricity to the people of Karachi.
“The government needs to cut non-development expenditures to improve overall national economy”, Altaf Hussain said
