Sindh Government announces allocation of 9,000 acres for Pakistan Army

KARACHI – The provincial government of Sindh has decided to allocate nine thousand acres of land in Shikarpur district for Pakistan Army.

Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah took this decision while presiding over a meeting at the CM House on Friday. The allocated land would be distributed among the heirs of martyred soldiers.

According to the sources of CM House, the army had asked the Sindh government for allotment of 35,521 acres land in Shikarpur, in 2001, and Sindh Government finally gave a green signal for the allocation of land for Pakistan Army.

Forest Minister Gianchand Israni said the land in question was located in the Golo Daro area of Garhi Yasin.

The chief minister approved the allotment of the land to Pakistan Army and directed the chief secretary to move the summary for approval.
