MIRPUR – Bangladesh team beat India in the first One Day International (ODI) by 79 runs at played at Shere Bangla National Stadium, Mirpur.
While batting first Bangladesh team scored 307 runs in the limited 50 overs. Tamim Iqbal scored 60 runs and remain top scorer from his side. Sarkar played a knock of 54 runs.
Shakib al Hasan also managed to score fifty. Nasir Hussain played a quick inning of 34 runs in just 27 runs. Kumar and Yadav took two two wickets each.
In response, Indian team lost all players after scoring 228 runs and faced first defeat of the series. Sharma scored 63 runs and remain top scorer for his side.
Shakib al Hasan sent back five Indian batsmen and Taskin Ahmed took two wickets.
