MUNICH – A parade of environment friendly electric cars and motor-cycles was held in Berlin, the capital of Germany.
Organizers of parade claimed that this is the largest event of such kind ever held.
Venue of parade was the runway of an airport which is located at the Centre of German capital. This particular airport was also used by the German forces during the Second World War.
Almost 577 electric cars and motor-cycles have been reported to take part in the event. Before this, a similar kind of parade was also held in Silicon Valley of US in which 508 electric cars participated.
Loui Palmer, one of organizer of event, said that the purpose of this event is to tell people that electric cars are trustworthy and their popularity is increasing.
