Fast and Furious 7 becomes the fifth biggest movie of all time

LOS ANGELES: Fast and Furious 7 continued its dominance on Box office for fourth week in a row as it has become the third highest gross profit film after Titanic and Avatar.

The film added another $18.3m to its $320.5m total box-office takings. The film also crossed the $1bn line in non-US territories over the weekend.

Its $1.3bn worldwide total now makes it the fifth biggest film of all time, and it looks likely to overtake Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 which is currently at number four with $1.34bn.

While Avengers: Age of Ultron doesn’t open stateside until the end of this week, it’s already started its international rollout to great success.

It was number one in every territory it opened in, and has made $201.2m already. This is an impressive number, given that it also hasn’t opened yet in China or Japan, two of the most important moviegoing markets.
