Umar Gul replaces injured Ehsan for two ODIs

KARACHI: As Pakistan star left arm quick Ehsan Adil who ruled out from Bangladesh tour due to hamstring injury, now Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to send Umra Gul in place of injured fast bowler.

According to details, Ehsan Adil will return to Pakistan tonight while Umar Gul will also expected to reach the country today (Saturday).

PCB confirmed the replacement via their twitter account.

The injury added to Pakistan’s woes as middle-order batsman Sohaib Maqsood, right-arm fast-bowler Sohail Khan and leg-spinner Yasir Shah already succumbed to injuries and were ruled out of the series even before it started.

Pakistan lost the first ODI by 79 runs on Friday as Bangladesh took 1-0 lead in the three-match ODI series.

The teams are scheduled to play one T20 and two Tests after the ODI series.
