ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister of Pakistan Railway Khawaja Saad Rafique said that Pakistan Muslim League -Nawaz (PM-N) will support Jamaat e Islami in the by-elections of NA-246.
Khawaja Saad Rafique has met with the representative of JI, Ameerul Azeem, on Wednesday, where JI requested PML-N to support their candidate in the By-elections of NA-246.
Khawaja Saad said to Ameerul Azeem that he will discuss the matter with the Prime Minister and then will inform JI about their support.
Khawaja Saad Rafique said now confirmed that, PML-N will support the JI’s candidate Rashid Naseem in the By-elections.
Discussion on the alliance of PTI and JI is also underway, where both parties are trying to convince the other party to step back in the favor of their candidate.
Earlier, Pakistan Peoples Party has shown card to MQM for their support. Now, PML-N is siding with JI.
