Last day to verify SIM cards verification today  

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has reminded mobile phone users across the country to verify their SIM cards by today, as no further extension will be given in the verification process.

According to PTA, unverified SIMs will be blocked from tomorrow (Monday).

So far, 7.7 million SIMs have been blocked as they were not re-verified through biometric process.

PTA Chairman Ismail Shah has said the SIMs blocked because of non-verification, will be reactivated upon biometric verification even after the today’s deadline.
