KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan has kicked off his election campaign in Karachi’s NA-246 constituency, his wife Reham Khan has decided to join him in electioneering and she has just landed in the metropolitan city.
Responding to Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain’s comments of invitation Imran and his wife to Karachi, Reham said she does not need any invitation to visit the city.
“I am coming to Karachi on the invitation of my brothers and sisters from NA-246,” she said.
The NA-246 seat fell vacant after Nabil Gabol resigned from his seat after he developed differences with the party. It was then decided by the Election Commission of Pakistan to hold by-polls on April 23.
Days ahead of the polling, Altaf said he welcomes Imran to address his supporters in Karachi.
