LAHORE: Pakistan star all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez is expected to play as a batsman in the series against Bangladesh.
According to reports, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has contacted International Cricket Council (ICC) for all-rounder’s action reassessment.
However, ICC hasn’t responded yet. And if Hafeez got the date after the April 10 then he will not be able to bowl in at least one of the series against Bangladesh.
In case he didn’t clear the test then he could face a ban for bowling at least for a year.
It is pertinent to mention here that Mohammad Hafeez had sustained the calf injury ahead of the World Cup and ruled out from the tournament as well as missed that official test which was scheduled to held in Brisbane on February 6.
Pakistan have to visit Bangladesh for a complete series starting from April 15.
