Rangers removes barriers from Musharraf’s residence

KARACHI: Launching a crackdown against all violators, Rangers on Wednesday removed the security barriers around Pervez Musharraf’s residence.

According to rangers spokesperson, Rangers has removed all the containers and barriers around former Chief of Army Staff General (R) Pervez Musharraf residence,

The spokesperson further said that Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has voluntarily removed the barriers from their headquarters Nine Zero.

On the other hand Inspector General (IG) Sindhi ordered the Rangers not to  remove barriers from Bilawal House due to security risk.

Chief Minister Sindh, in a meeting said that barriers had not been removed from around Bilawal House following the security reasons.

A local English daily quoting its own unknown resources reports that “The Bilawal House has officially been declared the camp office of a president of Pakistan, therefore, please consider it before taking action against the barriers.”
