Not interested to lead MQM: General (R) Musharraf

KARACHI: Former President of Pakistan and All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) chief General (R) Pervez Musharraf has said that he is not interested to lead Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM).

In an interview he said that MQM is one of the leading political parties of Pakistan, it would be not right to leave the party alone.

He further said that he is in contact with MQM but the news of leading the Party is just rumours.

While talking about Saulat Mirza and Uzair Baloch he said that he had heard their names but haven’t listened then yet, but the man behind then should be arrested.

Musharraf also appreciated Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz government for forming a Judicial commission on alleged rigging in General elections.
