Sri Lanka win toss opt to bat against South Africa

SYDNEY: Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to bat first against South Africa in first in first quarterfinal of ICC World Cup at Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) on Wednesday.

South Africa and Sri Lanka both are in tremendous form as they will play against each other in the knock out stage of the tournament.

Sri Lanka will be eyeing to carry on their winning run because their legendary batsmen Kumar Sangakkar and Mahela Jayawardene are playing their last tournament of international cricket.

Sangakkara who is the leading run scorer of the tournament and the second highest scored of One Day International cricket is in form of his life as he scored four consecutive centuries in World cup so far.

On other hand South African skipper AB de Villiers has also been in good knick in the tournament as he scored the fastest ever 150 in the history of the game while Hasim Amla as usual playing the role of run machine.

This will be one of the toughest match of the tournament let’s see who will win this game.
