LAHORE: As Mohammad Irfan’s injury is getting serious, now Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has called star fast bowler Junaid Khan with all important documents.
According to sources, it is expected that Irfan could be out of World Cup in case his MRI report came negative, then Junaid is expected to replace him if the injured bowler unable to recover from the injury.
It is pertinent to mention here that Irfan had sustained hip injury during match against South Africa while he was ruled out in a crucial match against Ireland.
On the other hand Junaid who was also the part of World Cup squad but he had to stay at home due to hamstring injury.
However, Sohail Tanveer and Saeed Ajmal name is also be under consideration as Irfan’s replacement.
