Ireland set 260 runs target against India

HAMILTON: Ireland were all out on 259 in 49 overs against defending champions India in pool B match at Seddon Park.  

Irish team got the traffic start but somehow lot the way in the death overs of the innings as they lost more than six wickets in just span of 50 runs.

However, Niall O’Brien players a brilliant hand of 75 runs while skipper William Porterfield scored 67 to set a respectable total against India.

Mohammad Shami took three wicket for 41 runs in his 9 overs.
