Question about Sarfarz: Waqar walks out from press conference

AUCKLAND: Head coach of Pakistan cricket team Waqar Younis left a post-match press conference following questions from reporters about wicket keeper batsman Sarfraz Ahmed.

According to details, head coach Waqar Younis was confused when he came for the press conference. He was expecting that journalists’ question would be about Pakistan victory against the tournament favourite South Africa, but the barrage of questions was about Sarfaraz Ahmed, whom he had kept at bench despite repeated calls from ex-players, cricket pundits and even PCB Chairman Shehryar Khan.

They asked why he didn’t included Sarfraz in the first four matches and even some asked him whther he would apologize for not playing Sarfraz.

It is pertinent to mention here that the wicket keeper has made his World Cup debut with a record breaking performance. He scored 49 runs while he took six catches for the side.
