72 million mobile SIMs verified so far

ISLAMABAD: Seventy-two million mobile phone SIMs have so far been verified against forty six million Computerized National Identity Cards (CNIC).
According to Pakistan Telecommunication Authority, three or more SIMs on one CNIC, if not verified by on Thursday, will start blocking from Friday.
 

Ten million disowned SIMs have already been blocked.The deadline to complete the biometric verification process of total 103 million SIMs is 13th of April this year.
