SEOUL: As Samsung is all set to unwrap its flagship smartphone Samsung Galaxy S6 and Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, now analysts were saying that the device will be iPhone killer.
The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus who dominated the fourth quarter of 2014 now all set to be vanished from the market with the arrival of Galaxy S6 which would be the concept changer of the smartphone.
The South Korean company is already on the publicity campaign of the device on social media especially twitter, with a trend setting up #TheNextGalaxy.
The device already made its debut online but yet to be confirmed with company’s March 1 event is coming closer the anticipation is getting even higher.
Samsung has made started the project with a code name ‘Zero’ which means that company has rebuild the device completely.
Design, frame, and material used to made the Galaxy S6 is completely different form its predecessors. The Galaxy series so far have the plastic variant but this time company used metal for the device.
The Galaxy S6 likely to have major design changes as well as features and specs difference which is shown in image.
As far as specs are concerned, rumours and specs suggest that the device likely to feature 5.2 or 5.3-inches 4K display screen it is likely to be powered by Exynos 8000 16-core processor and Snapdragon Qualcomm 810 64-bit chipset with minimum of 4GB RAM.
In camera department it will not disappoint either, as it is likely to feature a 21 megapixel rare and 5 megapixel front camera sensors both capable of recording 8K video.
Storage department might not disappoint as well because the device is set to boost the storage up to 128 GB. The device will run the latest Android version Lollypop 5.0 or updated version if the software.
The features of new chipset include the modem 4G LTE that would support Advanced Cat 6And the integrated modem is designed to be paired with the radio frequency module and supports data transfer speeds at 300 Mbit / s in the most modern frequency ranges.
To be specific Snapdragon 810 uses 4-core 64-bit processors based on ARM Cortex-A57 and Cortex-A53 (high performance or efficiency, depending on the specific tasks), GPU Qualcomm Adreno 430 (support 4K displays and standard OpenGL ES 3.1, hardware tessellation and geometry shaders).
The device will be IPS certified and could feature eye scanner as well along with finger scanner.
Samsung has ever launched and it is priced at $770 in most of the countries. Guess what, Galaxy S5 would also get the maximum price tag of the $750. But we are not sure because the flexible display concept could increase the cost. However the price of Galaxy S6 would be maintained in the range between $750 and $800 Max.
