ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Senator Rehman Malik on Monday met Finance Minister Ishaq Dar and handed over Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s letter to him over draft of political jirga.
Speaking to media, Rehman Malik said the government will respond to the PTI’s letter within three days.
He expressed hope that the matter was moving towards its logical end.
The government has appreciated the role of political jirga, he said adding that the jirga members will call on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif after return of Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) chief Sirajul Haq from Saudi Arabia.
PPP leader said that whole nation should be on the same page at the time of formation of judicial commission on poll rigging.
