NEW DELHI : Indian official finally admitted that their Coast Guard blew up the Pakistani boat on the night of December 31, 2014, local media reported on Wednesday.
According to Indian Express, this is the first time that the Coast Guard — in remarks that were recorded — has admitted that it destroyed the suspect boat which, Indian government claimed, had blown itself up under suspicious circumstances.
The site quoted Chief of Staff DIG B K Loshali said, “I said at night, blow the Pak boat off, we don’t want to serve them biryani.”
Pakistan had rejected India’s allegations about the boat as “baseless and preposterous”.
