LAHORE: As Pakistan star all-rounder had been ruled out form the World Cup in mater of a few days, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Shehryar Khan has demanded a clarification form team management regarding the Hafeez’s elimination from the mega event.
According to details, the all rounder talking to media revealed that plan was already afoot to drop him from World Cup squad on which PCB chairman took notice and asked team management regarding Hafeez’s issue.
It is pertinent to mention here that he had suffered a calf injury during the 2nd One Day Match played against New Zealand.
The all-rounder would recover from calf injury and would be available for the second match of the tournament against West Indies scheduled for February 21.
