Hafeez unable to ball at least in three World Cup matches

SYDNEY: As Pakistan preparing to start their World campaign, Green-shirts faces big lost as all-rounder will not be able to ball at least in three games.

This is because he has not appeared in the official reassessment of International Cricket Council (ICC) today (Friday) due to ankle injury.

Pakistan will start their World Cup campaign against arch rival India who is currently the defending champion, on February 15 while their next encounter will be against West Indies on February 21.

The bowler will now be available for baling in third match as well against Zimbabwe.

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has told ICC about Hafeez’s unavailability for the test today (Friday).

Sources recons that ICC is expected to take official test of the ban bowler on February 10.

Earlier, Mohammad Hafeez had been banned from bowling due to suspect bowling action reported during Pakistan versus New Zealand series.
