Kashmir Solidarity Day being observed in Pakistan

KARACHI: Kashmir Day is being observed in Pakistan to express solidarity with people of occupied Kashmir  on Thursday (today).

Pakistan observes Kashmir Day every year on February 5 against Indian oppression in occupied valley.

President Mamnoon Hussain said in a message that Pakistan’s diplomatic, political support to the people of Kashmir in their struggle for right to self-determination will continue

The President and Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif in their messages urged the international community to fulfill its promise to the Kashmiris, of granting them their right to self-determination through a free and fair plebiscite as only a just Kashmir solution can bring lasting peace in South Asia.

Different programs have been arranged by political and religious parties to highlight the importance of the day.
