Secret agencies arrest 6 TTP ‘terrorists’ from Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: As many as six alleged terrorists were arrested from different areas of the federal capital in raids conducted by secret agencies, here on Tuesday.

On tip-off, the secret agencies operative accompanied by Rangers and police personnel raided different hideouts of the terrorists in Ternol, Shehzad Town and Barakhow areas of the federal capital.

During the raids, some six alleged terrorists of Tehreek-e-Taliban (TTP) were arrested and arms and maps of different areas and important installations were also recovered from the possession of the terrorists.

The arrested accused are said to be member of TTP Momand agency and were planning to carry out attacks in the federal capital.

They were shifted to undisclosed location for further investigation.
