KARACHI: As many as five Lyari gang war criminals were killed in exchange of fire with Rangers in Malir Naddi area on Sunday, Rangers spokesman said.
According to the Rangers spokesman, the accused criminals, killed in the action, have been identified as Akbar Maliri, Sheeraz Comrade, Khalid Lashari, Gulab Hassan alias Peeru and Yousuf Pathan.
The spokesman said that they were involved in terrorism, murder and other heinous crimes.
Arms were also recovered from the custody of the gang war members.
