Campaign against business leaders who stayed away from MQM’s shutter-down

KARACHI: Muhajir Rabita Council (MRC) has decided to start a campaign against those leaders of businessmen who refused to support the shutter-down strike called by Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) on Thursday.

The council said in a statement that it would launch a campaign against the leaders of manufacturers who remained silent over the death of MQM worker Sohail.

It said it would cleanse the city of the manufacturers and traders who don’t stand with the people.

The committee said it would prepare a list of those manufacturers or traders who chose not to support the strike.
