MUMBAI: Bollywood’s upcoming flick ‘Khamoshiyan’ makers have now implemented contingency plan to shoot film scenes via creating ‘Kashmir’ in South Africa after finding similarities in its ‘look and feel’.
The floods in Kashmir that wrecked havoc in the lives of thousands in the state which dashed the hopes of the makers of Khamoshiyan who wanted to shoot for the film there, Pakistan Tribe reported.
Makers decided to recreate Kashmir in South Africa As a contingency plan, the to stick to the deadline to finish the film.
“Yes, this is true. We were at a loss and there was no desire to shoot hearing what had happened in Kashmir but there were deadlines and our crew figured out a place in South Africa that had the look and feel of Kashmir and we decided to shift base and shoot in South Africa,” Mahesh Bhatt said.
According to report, almost 40 per cent of the film has been shot in South Africa which has given the film breath-taking visuals including all the songs of the film slated to release on Jan 30 which stars Ali Fazal, Gurmeet Choudhary and Sapna Pabbi.
