ICC permits Amir to play domestic cricket

DUBAI: International Cricket Council (ICC) has given permission to Mohammad Amir to play domestic cricket.

ICC permitted banned Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Amir to play domestic cricket during the meeting held in Dubai.

Amir got six month relief in his ban which was schedule to end in September this year. Now the 22-year-old bowler can play domestic cricket and he could make his international return as soon as his ban from international cricket is over.

It is pertinent to mention here that Amir, Mohammad Asif and Salman But had been banned from all forms of cricket for five years due to spot fixing in 2010 during Test series against England.

However it is unclear, how he will be welcomed in domestic cricket by the player.
