ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Railways will soon complete installation of a modern tracking system to control trains’ movement and avert any untoward incident.
An official of Railways told the system would be installed at Control Offices throughout the country to improve efficiency of the organization.
The official said fares had been reduced, due to which it is attracting more passengers.
Availability of locomotives in freight pool had been enhanced from eight to 25 on daily basis that generated activity and made it possible to start three to five freight trains at Karachi Port daily for up country.
