US media neglects its president visit to India

WASHINGTON: US media neglected its President Barack Obama visit to India and American newspapers published Saudi Arab and Islamic State (IS) related news while electronic media covered most weather related news, local news agency reported.

As the US president is in India for three day visit and whole of Indian media have been covering each and every aspect of his presence whereas the US media avoided coverage of its President visit to India.

The US print media published condolences news on Saudi Arabia King Shah Abdullah death.

Even big news papers group like the New York Times and the Washington Post and others did not give value to the US President visit to India.

In the same way the US news channels aired weather related news most of the times and neglected its president visit to the South Asian country.
