SYDNEY: Australian emerging star Steven Smith once again dominated this time not in  ground but in the Allan Border Medal night as he captured most prestigious award by an enormous margin in Sydney on Tuesday.

Smith record breaking run in Test series against Indian helped him win the Player of the year award. Smith smoked four centuries including during four-match Test series helped Australia to win the series 2-0 in absence of Michael Clarke who ruled out from the series due to injury.
