Operation Zarb-e-Azb: 76 terrorists killed in North Waziristan

RAWALPINDI: Fresh air strikes have successfully targeted 76 terrorists in air attacks carried out on different militant-held areas of the tribal agency North Waziristan on Tuesday, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.

Pakistan military jets started bombardment targeting militants’ hideouts and underground tunnel systems in NWA on Tuesday evening intensifying the operation against insurgents.

At least 53 militants including a foreign terrorists were killed in the first series of air strikes while 23 terrorists were killed in other targeted air attacks by the Pakistani troops.

Large cache of weaponry, seven vehicles in usage of terrorists as well as six hideouts were completely destroyed in the attacks.

Aerial attacks were carried out in Datta Khel town of the tribal agency North Waziristan which also destroyed terrorists’ weapons and explosives depot, ISPR said.
