On this matter chairman PCB Shehryar Khan held the meeting with skipper Misbah-ul-Haq and other  senior players at the airport and ask them if they want to change any clause in the contract they can.

Player still refused to sign the contract and left for New Zealand.

PCB usually sign a year central contract with the player but this time the board tired the new thing in which PCB made three month contract instead of 12 months.
