CHRISTCHURCH: As International Cricket Council (ICC) has given the date to banned off-spinner Mohammad Hafeez, but he will not be able to bowl in the World Cup opener against India.
According to reports, Mohammad Hafeez has to give the official reassessment to ICC on February 6 which will not allow Hafeez to bowl in a match against India on Feb 15.

This is due to his action review report will come in 14 days but he can play the match without a doubt due to his batting ability in the top order.
The test will be held in Brisbane Bio-mechanics lab. Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) wanted a closer date for Hafeez’s action test but they has to settle with Feb 6.
He had been reported for suspect bowling action during the Pakistan versus New Zealand Test series and was banned from bowling during the Twenty 20 (T20) series.
