Ajmal bowling action officially reassessed in Chennai

CHENNAI: Pakistan star off-spinner Saeed Ajmal has given his official reassessment in Chennai Bio-mechanics lab, Dawn News reported on Saturday.

According to reports, Saeed Ajmal has appeared in Chennai lab recommended by International Cricket Council (ICC).

Banned bowler who refused to give unofficial test in India now gave the test in the same laboratory.

Earlier, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) sent the letter to ICC following the results of Ajmal’s third unofficial test in which he had cleared his bowling in England.

Ajmal had been banned from bowling since Pakistan tour of Sri Lanka where he was reported for suspected bowling action back in 2014.

He gave two unofficial test but remain unsuccessful before giving another try in London in which he cleared.
