DUBAI: International Cricket Council ICC has given date for official reassessment of banned Pakistani off spinner Mohammad Hafeez.
According to reports, ICC will take Hafeez’s official test on February 6 at Brisbane as Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has requested.
PCB had sent a letter to ICC to take all-rounder’s action reassessment on February 5 or 6.
Mohammad Hafeez had been banned from bowling during Pakistan and New Zealand Test series where his action was found illegal.
However, Hafeez appeared in an unofficial test where his a few deliveries were found illegal with minor defect of 4 to 5 degrees.
On the other hand, Saeed Ajmal also facing ICC’s band and he will go to Chennai for official action review which will be held on January 24.
Ajmal had passed the unofficial action test in London earlier this month. Even though Ajmal clear the official test he will not play in the World Cup.
He has refused to play in the mega event for the green shirts in order to get full command on his bowling.
Saeed Ajmal had been banned from bowling since August 2014.
