Reality behind Junaid’s injury

LAHORE: As Pakistan’s key pacer Junaid Khan ruled out for New Zealand tour and his chances of playing World Cup 2015 are also fading, now the big question is how serious his injury is?

Junaid Khan suffered a hamstring injury during training session at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore when he slipped due to wet out field.

The initial report which came on January 15 following his injury was not so serious as Pakistan Cricket Board Doctors declared it minor injury and advised him rest.

But the bowler traveled to his home town Sawabi for personal work without getting permission for the travel.

The second report of his MRI came on January 20, showing his injury as serious and he was ruled out from New Zealand series.

On the other hand, his chances to participate in World Cup are also fading as PCB sent Bilawal Bhatti as a replacement in the series against New Zealand.

Now everyone is asking if Junaid’s Injury was serious why PCB kept in secret?, If that was not the case why PCB  announce the replacement of Junaid for the World Cup?
