Women’s 2nd T20: Pakistan clinch easy win over SL levelling three-match series

SHARJAH: Pakistan women cricketers disastrous bowling shattered Sri Lankan batting line-up with help of Sana Mir four wickets with hat trick while the skipper also tallied 48 runs during second T20 match played at Sharjah Cricket Stadium.

Pakistan women cricket team set handsome 126-run target over six wickets against Sri Lankan players after opted to bat first while the guest team lost all wickets at 69 during 16 over, losing second T20 match with 55 runs.

Pakistani skipper Sana Mir slammed 48 not out on 37 balls, becoming the top scorer of the team while opener Javeria Khan was second top scorer with 25 runs.

From Sri Lanka, HM Samuddika grabbed three wickets, I Ranaweera 2 and MGMCP Gunawardene held one wicket but failed to stop cracking strokes of Sana Mir.

Sana Mir thwarted all bids of Sri Lankan batting line-up by smashing hat trick four-wicket spell of four overs by giving only 14 runs. Bismah Maroof sent off two players while Sania Khan and Sadia Yousuf took one wicket each.

Earlier on January 15, Sri Lanka defeated Pakistan by clinching 8-run victory in first Twenty20 match played at Sharjah Cricket Stadium, UAE.
