LAHORE: Senior batsman of Pakistan national team Younis Khan on Thursday said that Pakistan had as much chances to win the upcoming ICC World Cup as the host and favorite Australia had.
Talking to newsmen at Qadafi Stadium Lahore, Younis said that senior cricketer Shahid Afridi and skipper Misbahul Haq, who had announced to retire from one-day international after World Cup, should be respected and given honorable exit.

When asked whether he would retire from one-day cricket after World Cup following in the footsteps of senior teammates Afridi and Misbah, Younis said that he had no plan to retire but quickly added that he had a future plan and would announce at appropriate time.
He said that he now well that when and how to call it a day, saying that he feel he had a lot of cricket in him and was fit enough to play for the time being.
He lauded the services of incumbent skipper Misbah and star all-rounder Shahid Afridi for Pakistan cricket and paid them glowing tribute.
He called for giving honorable departure to the senior player, who led the team and served it with dedication.
