MQM announces mourning day on Jan 11 against worker’s killing

KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) on Saturday night announced to observe one day mourning throughout the country on Sunday against the murder of its activists in police custody.

The MQM’s co-ordination committee has announced that a peaceful mourning day will be observed on Sunday during which public transport and business activities will remain closed.

The party said that transporters and traders will shut their businesses.

The party co-ordination committee said that protests demonstrations will be held in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Azad Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan.
