RAWALPINDI: Lahore High Court (LHC) Rawalpindi bench has declared the execution of criminals illegal and passed orders for immediate release of the four convicts.
According to reports, LHC Rawalpindi bench has declared the execution of four accused of suicide blast case at Rawalpindi’s Imambargah Shah-E-Najaf.
The case was heard by Justice Ibadur Reham and Qazi Mohammad Amin.

The two-member bench heard the appeal filed by Fazah Hameed, Tahir Ullah, Hafiz Naeem and Tahir Hussain seeking re-investigation.
In the appeal they stated that the trial court had not investigated important aspects before giving the decision.
The bench passed orders to release Fazah Hameed, Tahir Ullah, Hafiz Naeem and Tahir Hussain, declaring the earlier verdict unlawful.
The trial court had on February 26, 2004, sentenced these four to death.
