Amir Khan to visit Peshawar victims tomorrow

LAHORE: Pakistan born British boxer Amir Khan is all set to visit Peshawar as he promised in London before donating his £30K short to Peshawar victims.

According to reports, Khan will leave for Peshawar to meet the victims of the Army Public School attack on Tuesday (tomorrow).

The terrorists attack on school had left 145 people killed, including 134 children while 125 people were injured.

Earlier, Pakistani origin boxer laid a wreath on the shrine of the saint and told media that he also prayed for the martyrs of Peshawar carnage. He said he was saddened by the tragedy and would try to visit Peshawar as well.

Khan said that there was no lack of talent in Pakistan, adding that he wanted to dispel the notion that Pakistan was an unsafe country.

Amir also met Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif in CM house in Lahore.

The boxer also donated his £30K short in order to rehabilitate the school and help the Peshawar carnage victims.
