LAHORE: Pakistan’s legendary off-spinner Saqlain Mushtaq said that banned all-rounder Hafeez has a minor defect in action.
Saqlain Mushtaq said that Hafeez bowling action has the minor bend which will be corrected in a few days unlike Ajmal’s elbow bend which is taking time to correct.
Mohammad Hafeez was reported during the recent test series against New Zealand. His action was tested in London during the series and was banned from bowling in international cricket before 2nd Twenty 20.
Both banned spinner are working on to correct their bowling action in National Cricket Academy (NCA) under the supervision of Saqlain Mushtaq.
Ajmal and Hafeez would leave for Chennai in couple of days for their un official action test before International Cricket Council’s action review latter this month.
Saqlain is very hopeful that both bowlers would play World Cup 2015, as Ajmal and Hafeez working hard to correct their bowling action.
Incase Ajmal unable to clear the test he will be banned from international cricket for the whole year while Yasir Shah who is waiting for his debut could take place of Ajmal in mega event.
