Ajmal, Hafeez to play World Cup 2015: Saqlain Mushtaq

LAHORE: Pakistan’s legendry off-spinner Saqlain Mushtaq said that banned spinners Saeed Ajmal and Mohammad Hafeez  would play in World Cup 2015.

Both banned spinner are working to correct their bowling action in National Cricket Academy (NCA) under the supervision of Saqlain Mushtaq.

Former bowler said that both bowler would be cleared before the World Cup.

He said that Hafeez bowling action has the minor bend which will be corrected in a few days. He said Ajmal’s elbow bend almost came in the limitation set by International  Cricket Council (ICC).

Saqlain said that Ajmal has a minor defect of three to four degrees which will be corrected soon.

NCA coach Mohammad Akram said that Ajmal’s two deliveries were spotted during the two One-day played against Kenya in which he took three wickets.

He revealed that Ajmal is working on new ball which will be perfect after little more practice and he will be very handy even without Doosra.
