KARACHI: Rangers spokesperson on Thursday night refuted report for issuance of non-bailable arrest warrant against an official of the paramilitary officer by the Sindh High Court (SHC).
The clarification was released after emergence of report regarding issuance of non-bailable arrest warrants of Sachal Rangers’ Brigadier Khalid Goraya by SHC.
It is noteworthy to mention here that the Sindh High Court (SHC) issued non-bailable arrest warrant of ongoing Inspector General (IG) Police Sindh Ghulam Haider Jamali in a 35-year old case on Thursday (today), according to local media reports.
IG Sindh Ghulam Haider Jamali was accused for not presenting himself before the court in a 35-year old case, local media reported. IG Sindh was accused in land grabbing cases and ordered to present before the court.
The court also issued non-bailable arrest warrants of Sachal Rangers’ Brigadier Khalid Goraya, Station Head Officer (SHO) Sachal, four policemen and two citizens.
However, Rangers spokesperson refuted that the report for issuance of arrest warrant of Rangers official.
