School Attack: Army chief Raheel Sharif reaches Peshawar to supervise operation

PESHAWAR: Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif  reached Peshawar following the militant attack on Army Public School at Warsak Road to supervise the ongoing search and rescue operation to flush out the militant from the school.

The COAS was in Quetta to attend the passing out parade of Army cadets. After the attack, the General Raheel dashed to Peshawar.

The Army commandos have so far killed six of the attackers and confined them to the fourth block of the school.

It is to be mentioned here that some 132 people including about 100 school children were killed and 250 other injured when the militants stormed the school and opened indiscriminate firing on the school children and teachers.
